Learn how to set up the conditions in the body for better vocal production in your students. Understand how singing is a full body experience and the big part posture, balance and alignment play. Work with your own speaking and singing habits and learn how to identify and cue better alignment in your students. This workshop is based on the Alexander Technique.
Ann Rodiger has been teaching the Alexander Technique for more than 30 years. She has been working with singers for over 25 years. She has private practices in singing and the Alexander Technique in New York City; Berlin, Germany and Abnwerp, Belgium. She teaches regularly at the Performance Practices Workshop in Berlin, Germany which she founded with John Norris. She also teaches at the Summer Voice Program in Antwerp has served on the faculty of Lidal North in Oslo.
