Formalize your study of the Alexander Technique with these in-depth BAC training programs.

Alexander Technique Introductory Certificate Program (75 hour)

This 75-hour Certificate Introductory program is designed to give you a comprehensive overview and introduction to the principles and experiences available through the Alexander Technique.  The program includes a balance of theory and practice allowing you to tailor your curriculum to your own interests and activities.  Parts of the program can be completed in online study.  It is a pay as you go program that can be completed in any time frame.

Performing Artist Certification (300 hour)

This certification program is designed for the artist who wants to deepen their understanding and embodiment of the Alexander Technique. Through private lessons and multidisciplinary group work, participants will get a big-picture understanding of how this process can help them grow in every aspect of their art form. Performing artists from all professions are welcome including dancers, musicians, singers, and actors. The Performing Arts Certification is a certificate of study and does not qualify you to be an Alexander Technique teacher or use hands on in your work.

 

Alexander Technique Teacher Training Program (1600 hour)

The BAC Teacher Training Program offers the highest standard of training in the Alexander Technique. This immersive course allows students to deeply integrate and refine the practices and principles of AT into their own use. Students studying at this level experience deep personal change and growth while being immersed in a supportive group learning environment. By integrating the work into their own lives, students then learn how to communicate and teach this process to others from their own experience. BAC’s course is AmSAT certified and a comprehensive 1600 hours of study.

International Study: BAC’s Teacher Training Program (1600 hour)

The BAC offers international students M-1 visas towards in-depth study in the Alexander Technique Teacher Training Program at the Balance Arts Center in New York City.
