EDS and the Alexander Technique: A Free Online & In Person Introductory Class

This free class offers an introduction to the principles of the Alexander Technique and how they relate to EDS. You'll discover that how you think about yourself and your movement affects how you move and manage your EDS. This session will include theory and experience to help you explore your own self agency. There will be time to address your questions and concerns. This class is led by Ann Rodiger, who lives with EDS, and is the Founder & Director of the Balance Arts Center in New York City. All ages and EDS/HSD types are welcome.

We want to let you know that the Balance Arts Center COVID POLICY will begin to follow the NYC State Mandate for Covid Vaccination Requirements on Monday September 13th, 2021.  Everyone entering the Balance Art Center space must have at least one dose of a FDA or WHO approved vaccine.  We will also continue to enforce mask wearing, fully covering the mouth and nose during all in-person classes as well as in the BAC’s hallways and common areas. There are no exceptions. We appreciate your assistance in enforcing this policy. 

Participants can submit their proof of vaccination in the following ways: CDC Vaccination card, or photo of Vaccination card with photo ID, Excelsior Pass, NYC Covid Safe App. This is a one time requirement. If sending ahead of time, please email to info@balanceartscenter.com.

Any persons not in compliance with these guidelines while attending BAC in-person programming will be asked to leave.
