Deepen your understanding and embodiment of the Alexander Technique through these weeklong intensives. Guided by internationally renowned faculty, you will get a big-picture understanding of how the AT process can help you grow in every aspect of your life and art form.

Daily Schedule

In-Person & Online Study

Through these intensives, you will learn how to:

  • Improve your posture, breathing, balance, and coordination

  • Find relief from chronic pain, tension and strain

  • Increase your focus and self-awareness

  • Improve your vocal production, singing, and public speaking skills

  • Refine your artistry and technical skills 

  • Decrease performance anxiety

    • Online programming will only be offered for the first week of the summer intensive, 7/13 - 7/17

    • 10:00am-11:30am EST Hybrid Alexander Technique Masterclass with Ann Rodiger

    • 12:00pm-1:00pm EST Online Breakout Class with BAC Faculty

    • 10:00am-11:30am Hybrid Alexander Technique Masterclass with Ann Rodiger

    • 11:30am-1:00pm In-Person Class with Ann Rodiger and teaching assistants. Includes personal attention and hands-on work

    • 2:00-4:00pm In-Person Class with Ann Rodiger and teaching assistants. Includes personal attention and hands-on work

Scholarship Opportunities & Deadlines

  • Application Deadline: Friday, 6/19/26 by 5pm EST.

    • In addition to filling out the application form above, please submit your resume or cv to info@balanceartscenter.com.

    • If you are applying for a scholarship, you do not also need to fill out a registration form.

    • Scholarships are offered for all tracks.

    • Scholarship notifications will be sent out by 6/26/26 5pm EST. 

  • Upon completing your registration form, you will receive an invoice directly to your inbox. Tuition will be due 48 hours after receiving your invoice.

  • Final registration deadline for Week 1 is July 10 at 5pm ET. 
    Final registration deadline for Week 2 is July 17 at 5pm ET.

  • The Balance Arts Center is an approved provider of Continuing Teacher & Leader Education Credits for NY State Teachers. School teachers receive 15% off their tuition!

  • Students can cancel their registration up until the Saturday before each intensive week. Refunds are available minus a $50 processing fee.
