This 4-class series, for those with EDS & Hypermobility, will guide students towards improved proprioception, coordination, and help find a better relationship to gravity. By exploring these strategies one can find better overall balance enabling you to negotiate your daily activities with more ease and less pain. You can join online via Zoom or come in person at the Balance Arts Center!

Class will include: 

• Guided awareness exercises 

• Activities to assist your coordination and build proprioception

• Safe, simple movements that address students’ concerns

• An emphasis on learning and embodying adapted principles of the Alexander Technique

This class series is led by Ann Rodiger, who lives with EDS.

Class Series Fee: $100

We want to let you know that the Balance Arts Center COVID POLICY will begin to follow the NYC State Mandate for Covid Vaccination Requirements on Monday September 13th, 2021.  Everyone entering the Balance Art Center space must have at least one dose of a FDA or WHO approved vaccine.  We will also continue to enforce mask wearing, fully covering the mouth and nose during all in-person classes as well as in the BAC’s hallways and common areas. There are no exceptions. We appreciate your assistance in enforcing this policy. 

Participants can submit their proof of vaccination in the following ways: CDC Vaccination card, or photo of Vaccination card with photo ID, Excelsior Pass, NYC Covid Safe App. This is a one time requirement. If sending ahead of time, please email to info@balanceartscenter.com.

Any persons not in compliance with these guidelines while attending BAC in-person programming will be asked to leave.
