This class offers a supportive, peer-centered space to explore how principles of the Alexander Technique can be applied to the lived experience of ADHD. Rather than a treatment or therapy session, it is a shared inquiry—an opportunity to exchange perspectives, experiment, and learn together.
Led by Balance Arts Center advanced trainees who have personal experience with ADHD and neurodivergence, each class invites open discussion and practical exploration. Participants will explore awareness-based tools that can support noticing patterns around impulse, restlessness, overstimulation, focus, and self-regulation—without pressure to “fix” or “correct” anything.
The emphasis is on curiosity, choice, and mutual learning in a respectful and welcoming environment.
This class will take place 3/4, 3/11, 3/18, and 3/25 from 7-8pm ET. All sessions will be held online via Zoom.
Please note: The Alexander Technique is an educational and exploratory practice and is not a substitute for therapy or medical care. This class is not led by licensed medical or mental health professionals.
