Dive into the Arts Performance Series

Fall 2026
Registration is now open!

Take a dive into the arts!

Performers will choose a path of interest - acting, dance, or music - and collaborate with other artists to create an interdisciplinary night of performance. This unique offering will feature a rehearsal process and a fully-realized performance in a theatre space.

This series is open to all skill levels–all that is required is a desire to engage with the creative performance process in some way. Whether you want to perform a piece you've been working on for a while or generate new work, this series can support the path you choose. Faculty will be well-versed in the art form as well as the Alexander Technique, so they can guide the process as a holistic exploration.

Five performers with different hair colors and styles are standing on a dark stage, facing different directions. They are barefoot and wearing casual clothing, with some holding hands. The stage has a black background and is lit by stage lights.

The course is open to:

  • Those who want to engage with the creative performance process

  • Artists interested in trying out a new art form

  • Professionals wanting to get back into their art form

Dates, Schedule, & Structure

Mondays (Working Sessions)
September 28, October 5, 12, 26, November 2,
6:00-8:00pm

Tech/Dress Rehearsal:
Monday, November 9th, 6-9pm

Public Performance:
Saturday, November 14th, 7pm

Two women with clown noses and red noses, wearing black and red clothing, standing in a room with wooden floors and large windows, engaging in conversation, both smiling.
A woman with dark hair pulled back, wearing a beige ribbed sweater with gray sleeves, standing on a dimly lit stage with her hands raised near her ears. Stage lights and dark curtains are visible in the background.

Each class will start with a collective warm-up to ready your system and get the creative juices flowing through the lens of the Alexander Technique.  The AT focuses on the “how” of your work, so bring your most balanced and open instrument to the performance process.

Then you will divide into your artistic group to create, rehearse, and polish your performance.

All the faculty will be versed in the art form they are leading and as well as the Alexander Technique so they will guide and direct the process in a holistic full mind/body exploration.

Three art forms to choose from! Bring yourself, your ideas, and an openness to create and learn.
