Summer Alexander Technique Study

We are offering several study options in Istanbul and Izmir

Alexander Technique Principles - 3 Day Intensive

Expand your mind/body awareness through the Alexander Technique with Ann Rodiger and the Balance Arts Center faculty. Each day will be devoted to a different AT Principle helping you to explore your thought and movement habits, overall balance, and sensory awareness. The 3 days will help you establish a new "normal" for your interactions with yourself, the environment, and your art form. Students will receive individualized verbal and hands-on instruction during the intensive to help you embody your learning.

Alexander Technique - Weekend Intensive

Integrate your senses into a unified field of awareness during this 2 day workshop. We will focus on balancing your sensory experiences so that you are available to all of your senses as you integrate your mind and body. Students will receive individualized verbal and hands-on instruction during the intensive to help you embody your learning.

Alexander Technique for Instrumentalists - AT Application Workshop

Bring your instruments to this workshop and we will look at how you support and interact with them during practice and performance. We will look at your own body as part of the instrument and how you expand your awareness to include yourself, your instrument, and the music. Students will receive individualized verbal and hands-on instruction during the workshop.
