Transforming Cerebral Palsy Care with Alexander Technique - Virtual Town Hall

  • Balance Arts Center 151 West 30th Street New York, NY, 10001 United States (map)

The BAC teachers and one of our Teacher Trainees (Hailey McAvoy) have been invited to study with Leonid Blyum, one of the foremost CP researchers and the founder of Advanced Biomechanical Rehabilitation, in Toledo, Spain this fall. Our work with Hailey, along with two other students who live with CP, has helped us to understand the impact that the AT has on this community. Through our study with Leonid, we will be able to continue our understanding and research in learning how we can better serve and support this community.

Learn more about our trip and this larger project by joining us for a Virtual Town Hall on Saturday, June 21st at 3pm ET. You will hear more about Hailey's story and the work we've been doing so far as well as the work we hope to do in the future. To defray costs of the trip, we have started a fundraising campaign (links to donate below). Your support will help the BAC further our ability to help everyone through the Alexander Technique!
