Group Classes at the Balance Arts Center
For students under 18 wishing to receive hands on guidance during classes, you are required to bring a note of parental permission.
In this class you will explore how working with lighter weights can be a valuable way to strengthen and build tone. What you learn and practice in this class can be applied to activities in your everyday life such as exercising, lifting and carrying things, and more!
This weekly Introduction to the Alexander Technique will explore basic principles of the Alexander Technique that guide you toward finding a better balance and dynamic body posture that you will learn to apply to all of your activities!
This class will help you learn and embody strategies for maintaining your balance and preventing falls. You will be guided through movements that increase coordination and help you refine your balance. Participants will practice supportive strategies to increase your confidence and adaptability in your standing and walking.
Join the BAC’s Virtual Open House & Free Intro to Alexander Technique! This 1 hour session gives you the opportunity to meet with Training Course Director Ann Rodiger, and learn about the training programs, their structure and curriculum, and the BAC’s pedagogical point of view. Bring any questions you might have. We look forward to meeting you!
