A Series on the Alexander Technique. Four weeks at a time. One class at a time. Come as you are.
This ongoing series explores a different aspect of the Technique each month, through themes that are practical, embodied, and immediately useful. Whether you're a performer, someone dealing with pain, completely new to AT, or a longtime student, each series offers fresh perspectives and something genuinely to take home.
In this class series you will explore how the voice and body can work together to create a free and easy resonance. You will explore motion and balance in the body and how that helps you to breathe and support your sound. This class will also feature SOVT and other vocal exercises to reduce stress and optimize resonance. You will be guided through a series of movements and recuperative vocal exercises to help you discover more ease, balance and resonance in your speaking or singing voice. This class is great for teachers, public speakers, singers, actors, and anyone interested in refining their vocal health.
Learn why the use of the voice is an important tool in teaching the Alexander Technique! Following Alexander's lead, we will explore how vocalizing reflects a student’s use and how integrating speaking into a lesson can assist in cultivating better use. For many students, speaking is as much a part of the day as sitting, standing, and walking which are often explored within a lesson. In this workshop we will discuss why this is so important and how to incorporate it into your teaching practice.
This online workshop is intended for Alexander Technique Teachers and Teacher Trainees.

Find the knowledge in your body to allow the energetic flow from one pose to another.
In this experiential workshop, we’ll explore the subtle flow and directional intelligence within familiar yoga asanas such as Downward Dog and Forward Folds. Rather than “doing” the pose, we’ll investigate how sensing the ground, clarifying direction, and allowing support can transform both the posture and the transition.
This workshop is ideal for yoga practitioners and teachers who are curious about deepening embodiment, enhancing flow, and discovering greater ease within familiar forms.
